Responsible Managers (RMs) typically review submitted packs and record an outcome within the configured workflow (for example: approve, return for revision, or reject).

What you can typically do​

  • View submitted pack information and attachments
  • Record comments or revision requirements
  • Approve / authorise, or reject (subject to permissions and workflow stage)
  • See submission history and status changes

What a digital approval records​

A digital approval in DocuRail records:

  • Who recorded the outcome
  • When the outcome was recorded
  • The pack state at the point of approval
  • Any comments recorded as part of review
Operational authority

Platform approval records workflow activity. Operational authority, acceptance criteria, and controlled documentation requirements remain defined outside DocuRail.
