Status meanings
Summary
Statuses communicate where a pack is within the workflow and what actions are available. Status names vary by client configuration; the principles below apply regardless of label.
How to use this page
For each status in your system, define:
- Meaning: what the status represents
- Owner: who is expected to act next
- Allowed actions: what can be done in this state
- Blocked actions: what cannot be done (and why)
- Exit trigger: what moves the pack to the next state
Implementation note
Create a short table for each status your client uses. Keep it consistent across POS and ALO so teams do not have to relearn behaviour per pack type.
Public-facing note
This Knowledge Base intentionally describes platform behaviour at a high level. Client-specific status names and approval authorities are defined by each organisation.
